Tallahassee, Fla. – A year after Hurricane Michael devastated the Florida Panhandle, many families are still struggling to recover. However, this Christmas will be brighter for seven children in Panama City thanks to help from FBMC Benefits Management, Inc.
A donation from FBMC’s Community Service Team allowed employees to purchase and wrap gifts of clothing and toys for two families with students attending ABC University preschool.
“We’re committed to helping our neighbors as they recover from this unprecedented disaster,” said FBMC President/CEO David Faulkenberry. “I’m proud of our employees’ generosity and eagerness to help those still in need.”
This isn’t the first time FBMC has helped ABC University families. In the days immediately following Hurricane Michael, employees delivered a load of emergency supplies, including food, clothing and diapers. And last Christmas, FBMC played Santa for six students at the school.
“There are simply not enough words to express my gratitude to FBMC Benefits Management, Inc., for making our children’s Christmas a memorable one,” said Susanne Jones, ABC University owner. “There are truly angels among us.”
