FBMC Welcomes new board member David Essary

Tallahassee, FL, May 2019  – FBMC Benefits Management, Inc. (FBMC) is excited to announce and welcome David Essary as its newest FBMC Board of Directors Member.

Essary comes to FBMC with an impressive career and a pioneering spirit. Recently, Essary served as co-founder and CEO of Accord Systems, LLC, a national provider of ACA Compliance reporting, filing and fulfillment. Essary is the CEO of Zevo Benefits as well, the parent company of the Zevo benefit administration platform and services. Essary was the co-founder/director of Advice2Pay, an institutional provider of insurance premium billing and reconciliation software. He was co-founder of Tricerion Group, a national provider of online enrollment and benefit administration services.

Additionally, Essary served as Executive Director of kuraMD, an occupational health-focused telehealth provider. He was the National Practice Consultant for voluntary benefits for Provident/Unum. During his career, Essary had a personal production of more than $100 million of voluntary benefits sales.

Essary earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, graduating cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Human and Organizational Development. He received his Harvard Business School executive education in Leadership and Board Governance.

Essary’s career commitment is balanced between family life and service to his community. He served as Chairman of the Board at the Bobby Dodd Institute – an employment-centered charity focused on both physically and developmentally challenged adults. He was also active in Camp Southern Ground, as well as a number of childhood development and autism-related causes.

Essary is married to wife Keely. They have two daughters, Taelor and Everly, and one son, Emerson, along with two granddaughters, Berkeley and Ellie.
