Friends and Colleagues,
I wanted to give you an update on FBMC’s business continuation efforts. I’m sure you have seen the impact from hurricane Michael – it is devastating and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted. Tallahassee and the surrounding counties were significantly impacted, but everyone at FBMC is safe and we are thankful for that. Many of us are still without power and sustained property damage, but that can be repaired. I know several of you live or work in areas significantly affected by the hurricane and I cannot imagine the challenges you undoubtedly will face. I hope that everyone is safe and please know that everyone at FBMC will assist in any way possible.
Before moving to Tallahassee, I lived in Panama City and my wife grew up there, and it is heartbreaking to see the devastation that occurred in and around that area. Because of the sheer scale of the damage, I am sure it will take years before they are fully recovered; but just like many of you who have experienced and come back from natural disasters, they will rebuild and come back stronger. Our company has always had a strong sense of community, and our Community Services team is fully engaged and will do what we can to help those in need.
