Affordable Healthcare Benefits in Wake of COVID-19

May 31, 2020

Tallahassee, Fla. – May 2020 – FBMC Benefits Management, Inc. is teaming up with Zevo Benefits and Healthcare2U to make affordable and accessible healthcare available for workers in need of benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Healthcare2U recently started the My Direct Primary Care Plus (MyDPCplus) membership for employees who have been laid off or furloughed due to the pandemic. In order to fill the gap in healthcare, Healthcare2U offers an individual membership that includes benefits like unlimited primary care visits, 24/7 virtual primary care/telehealth consultations, visits to urgent care, and treatment for 13 different chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma and hypertension.

Zevo Benefits – co-founded by David Essary who is also a member of FBMC’s Board of Directors – partnered with Healthcare2U to make MyDPCplus available to everyone who needs it nationwide. The enrollment platform, designed by Zevo Benefits, allows this program to be accessible online with privacy and security that is personalized to the patient. With an online account, all of an enrollee’s benefits and payments are available any time.

The MyDPCplus membership was designed to offer ease of access with quality care. When a patient uses their MyDPCplus to visit a doctor, there are no copays or deductibles – just a visit fee at the physician’s office and a flat monthly membership fee payable through your online membership portal. With MyDPCplus, care is easier to access and is available when needed.

“We’re thrilled to have been able to partner with FBMC and Zevo Benefits to create the My Direct Primary Care Plus membership,” said Andy Bonner, CEO of Healthcare2U. “Together, we can bring some much-needed help to the millions who find themselves without any affordable care options in these scary times.”

Thanks to the combined forces of FBMC, Healthcare2U and Zevo Benefits, the MyDPCplus program will be able to fill the current gaps in employee healthcare benefits and offer some relief to those in need. For more information, please visit www.FBMC.com/direct-primary-care-plus/.
